Your Men's Counselor in Phoenix

What the heck am I doing here?

First off, you made it pretty far in your search! That shows me strength. (air five!)

You got a lot going on. You may be working multiple jobs or insane hours, transitioning careers, transitioning into parenting, or leading others at your business. You take care of the cars, the family pets, the finances, and attempt to keep the romance flowing smoothly. On top of that, you seem to be the go to person because "you have it all figured out". If only they could see what's going on inside.

You were doing really well for a while, heck, you were fricking awesome! But for some time now, things are slowing down, you're stressed, unproductive, easily irritable, and you feel distant from your significant other. You feel out of control in life and with your reactions. You are not the person you want to be. Others are starting to notice too.

You tried working harder, reading the books, watching the videos, and listening to the podcasts. You tried "manning up", yet things are not getting better. You're stuck, but you're not afraid to find a way out, that's what the heck you're doing here!

How will talking about my problems help me? I need action!

You want to overcome your lack of motivation, productivity, and increase your intimacy with your significant other in a healthy way, then you need to work with an expert who understands behavior, drive, and emotions.

When we meet, we will be together for 45-50 minutes. During this time, I will help you understand yourself and your habits, and I will give you tools to start using right away. Stop wasting time doing things that just don't work, and commit to truly helping yourself.

I've helped men open up and discuss their insecurities, anxieties, sex life, addictive behavior, relational difficulties, and current risky decision making. I make talking about these things easier. I'm not here to judge you, God knows I've had my share of difficulties, but I am here to ask the tough questions and offer different alternatives.

I want you to be free to be the best you can be.

I am a man, I should be able to figure this out on my own.

Oh, please don't "should" on yourself! Let's examine this phrase I hear often.

What most individuals mean by this is that they should be strong enough to handle everything that comes their way... and then some more. They must not complain, they need not break a sweat, and above all not ask for help!

I don't blame you for thinking this way, it's what we've been taught. But somewhere along the line, we were told to be sensitive with our significant other while also tough and direct. Then, when you open up emotionally, you are a wimp, and when you are direct with other's, you are a bully. WTF.

There's a balance within the extremes we are called to live in. Let's figure it out together. I know it can feel intimidating but I know after our first meeting you will feel comfortable. Time to bet on yourself and reach out!
